Dave,
I'm in CT and also use 10% ethanol. My gauge goes right to the yellow/red border, and sometimes ever so slightly into red about 1-2 seconds after shift. I've got a stock '00 Aero sedan w/ autobox. If the gauge is any indication of power and trouble issues, you definately have a problem if yours doesn't go up to the yellow/red spot.
