Same thing happened on my identical car, and apparently the fuel sender unit is integral with the pump, so a total replacement runs around 650 with labor. Flip up the rear seat and remove the round metal cover that allows access to the pump. There is a multi pin connector on top of it. If you can, remove the connector and clean all contacts, then re-seat and try. If it works, you have saved the cost of a pump replacement. Getting the metal cover back on the hole can be tricky. A small amount of vaseline on the edge and a rubber mallot does the trick. Good luck.
