What year model?
My 2000 does this, when I had a wheel bearing replaced my indy told me the clunk was due to the wheel bearings moving in the housing !?! For that reason he said he loctites them in even though they need a few ton to press them in, and he needed the car overnight to let it cure.
He reckons around 2002 or 03 they went back to a different design hub more like the 9k (which never had this problem) and it was no longer an issue.
I'm not sure if mine now only clunks on the RHS which was the one he didn't replace, or whether it's both sides. The car tracks well and the clunk doesn't worry me on the odd occasion it happens.
Cheers
Steve
