Sudden Rough & Erratic Idle, CPS Maybe?

Driving home last night all was fine until I slowed to make a turn & the car stalled. It started right back up but by the time I got to the next stop light a couple blocks up the road, it was idling very rough and erratic (like it was searching for it's idle point). I just went out this morning and it's really bad. Engine speed is jumping all over the place (as high as 2500 rpms) and when it gets to around 1000 rpms it idles extremely rough and then the rpms jump back up. Also, as it was running the CEL started flashing.
I installed the spare DI I have just to see if there was a difference and there was none so that's ruled out.
Sounds to me like this may be a CPS, any other suggestions?
BTW, everything else has just about been replaced within the last year including MAF, DI, Converter, no evident vaccum leaks that I could find visibly and it's to sudden and drastic to be a dirty TB. My wife is fed up with how high maintenence the Saab is so I need to fix it as quickly (and quietly) as possible!
