But where I see it most is in turbo lag. I don't have it, at least not before 110 degrees outside. And improved mpg. I get about 2mpg more than what I was getting before. I *think* that it gives you about 10hp more just to have the open air filter. that is from looking at the differences between upgrades, ones that come with the filter and ones that don't, and their difference between claimed hp improvement. as far as ECU upgrades, I am thinking of going with one from Genuine saab, they have the one for the E85, it gives you the same upgrade as a regular stage one: Stg1 Hp 225 and 243 FtLbs but if and when E85 becomes available it gives you: Stg0 Hp 230 and 266 FtLbs Torque, and that is with just the ecu upgrade, I am looking to see if I can get the government to give me a grant for an E85 conversion. but Genuine saab mails you one, and then you mail yours back. so no down time.
