I ordered both shocks and springs from genuinesaab. Be advised that it may take a while for the springs b/c sometimes he doesn't stock them and has to order directly from Germany.
As far as ride height, don't expect a dramatic change from a stock Aero. Yes, it will be lower, but 25mm is not a lot at all since our Aeros sit lower anyway. I know what you mean about the rear being jacked up, and I can assure you that you won't have that problem with the springs. If anything the rear sits lower than the front! I would HIGHLY recommend new shocks ASAP when doing springs. The thing is that although the drop may not be dramatic enough to necessarily place the shock outside of it's working range, the shock has settled itself to working within a certain range of movement. If you replace the springs then you are changing that range and throwing it out of wack slightly. Now if you bought brand new stock Aero shocks, you would be fine as they haven't settled yet, but if you do that then why not get some performance shocks? Others may say it's ok to run the stock shocks and while it's not really going to hurt anything, youre ride comfort would be better with aftermarket shocks. I certainly understand your dilemma because the shocks are much more expensive than the springs. I wrestled with the same decision but ultimately I decided to bite the bullet and order the shocks as well. I swapped out everything at once, which was much easier than changing the springs and then taking everything back apart to swap shocks later. If you do the shocks you won't be disappointed. Cheers.
