I can't remember on which Saab owner board I read it though. I think they cut the siren box open using a razor saw (hobbyist version of a jeweler's saw).
But I remember the post being a little murky as to whether the siren was really the glued shut type, or the screwed and RTV'ed unit still used on some early 2001 cars. No photos were posted, and the text left me less than 100% convinced it was the glued shut type.
