I agree, mother in law has an Audi A6 all road, and has been nothing but trouble, I think they fall apart more and more as time goes by. Our 9-5's have been very reliable, and should continue to be well past 100K.
I did have a short-term bug to buy a Volvo R wagon, AWD, 300 HP, but even with the R package, it still seemed so pedestrian, maybe agricultural. Still, I really dislike the 2006 restyling of the 9-5's, so once we see fit to replace one of our Aero's I'll be going thru this process again.
Lucky for us, our sedan has only 45,000 miles, we bought it 3 years ago with 10,000 miles....and our aero wagon is up around 70,000.....so both cars should hold out for another 2-3 years, if needed.
