I believe I was quoted $90-to-$100 for full-syn by Charles River Saab. 128Saab in Wakefield was a bit cheaper, though they are further away from Cambridge. Even my local indie charges $65 for some no-name 5w-40 full syn. So you're still paying a lot at non-dealer places in the metro-Boston area. It is obviously cheaper if you source your own oil. Most indies will be out of business if we all started doing that, however.

I've heard of a Saab indie in Allston. I can't recall their name right now, unfortunately. (Search the board for Allston). I think they are located behind/around the Sports Deport. I'm sure their pricing is more reasonable than any dealership in greater Boston.
