I had this same problem (lights/noise, etc.)with my 2002 9-5 arc (v6). Don't ignore it thinking it will go away - I made that mistake and had to invoke SAAB NA for some goodwill warranty support. First attempt to fix, dealer said it was low brake fluid because I was parked on an incline. That was not the case. After 2nd and 3rd visit they finally discovered that there was a "pressure sensor failure" and I think the code was C0131 (tried to decipher paperwork they gave me for you). They also found a brake light switch failure and replaced one bulb. I would ask about these possible causes. Other members may have better advice - hope this helps.
