the Klingons come from the factory with 225/45-17 tires installed, and that's the best size tire to match the 7" rim width. You will really only have to go down 10mm in width. The real downside is that the extra width of the 7 1/2" rim obviously makes the tire/wheel sit out further from the car, giving it a more aggressive trac. The Klingons with their horrible 49mm offset are tucked so far under the car that it looks silly especially in the rear. Your '06, however has a slightly wider axle than previous 9-5's so this may not be as much of an issue for you. I've always thought that the ride height was much too high and that the wheels were tucked under the car too far in stock form. My Aero that has been lowered 25mm and has spacers now has the height and stance of a stock Audi/5-series! Go figure. Cheers.
