I have a 2004 9-5 Aero with standard headlights. Left front low beam is out. Replaced bulb...still nothing. Searched forums and found that a relay could be the issue. I removed said relay, checked the contacts and reinstalled and still nothing.

Questions:
Is there anything else I can try before having the dealer look at it?

Might this be covered by warranty? i.e. relay?

Is there an easier way to get at the front left bulb? I had to loosen the battery just to get my hand in there and then I had to feel my way around because I couldn't see anything other than looking through the front lense.

I've read that the relay can be the issue. Has anyone heard of one this young failing or when the typical failure period is?
