I'm on my second 9-5 lease (02' and now 05') and am about two months away from the next one. I've seen the saabusa lease 'specials' but am wondering because of low sales this year if people are getting better than the internet deal-- $419 auto trans with $2,999 (includes 1st month payment) down for 27 months.

I think the total package is about $1500 - $1800 higher than it needs to be over the 27 months. My 05' end of model year 5k loaner lease was $1,000 down and $400 per month for 24 months with a cash back from dealer amount of $1,600 for mileage overage costs as well as a 6 month 02' lease early out. It seemed a pretty good deal at the time but, frankly, if they can't repeat something similar I'll look at other brands. Freshened 9-5 has real improvements, yes, but with the sticker the same as 05' the lease should be more similar. Michael Lynch?

What are 9-5 sales compared to recent previous years?
The next 9-5 is what, 2009 or 2010 or...?
