I've got a 2000 9-5 Aero automatic with 94k on it. Previous owner flushed the tranny about 20k ago, and it seems to shift a bit more rough recently. Fluid is still pink, but I believe fresh fluids are an inexpensive way to keep things running well.
I'm considering a switch to Mobil 1 or AMSOIL syn ATF. Is it too late in the game to do so? If not, what's the best recommended drain & fill procedure? In other words, can I mix the syn with conventional using the typical drain & fill methods described here?
Thanks!
