so I just got new Eagle F1 GS-D3s all around for my 2k2 Aero, because besides being pretty worn, the front right got a leak from too much wear on the inside... so I took it to the Goodyear/Gemini service center to get an alignment (I spent a lot on those tires and I want to make them last!) and I was told that the rear camber was out of spec, too negative, and that they had no way to fix that at their shop, and he recommended I take my car to a specialist if I really wanted it fixed. So do any of you guys know much about this? The rears both read -1.6 degrees (but for some reason, the graphics on the printout show the tire leaning outwards on top -- doesn't that mean positive?) Anyway, it seems to me that some shims would do the trick... can this be done at home with any degree of accuracy, or should I take it to a professional?
BTW, does anyone know of any good saab and/or alignment specialists in norcal?
