Honda, Saab have fuel pump problems

A fault in a fuel pump that can cut off the gasoline supply has prompted Honda to recall about 11,600 cars and trucks from some of its 2005-2006 models.
Transport Canada said a manufacturing fault with a fuel pump relay could cause the coil wire in the relay to break on certain vehicles.
Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the fuel pump relay on the 2005 Acura RL, TL, TSX; Accord coupe, sedan and hybrid; and Odyssey and the 2006 Ridgeline.
A series of Saabs dating back to 2000 also have fuel pump problems serious enough for General Motors to recall about 4,500 vehicles.
According to Transport Canada, the fuel pump retaining tabs were damaged during production on the 2000-2003 9-3 convertibles, 2002 9-3 sedans and wagons, and the 2001-2005 9-5 sedans and wagons. Dealers will install a bracket that will secure the fuel lines to the fuel pump.
DaimlerChrysler's 2006 and 2007 Jeep Liberty is being recalled to allow dealers to replace a heater/air conditioner blower motor that can overheat and possibly catch on fire.
The same manufacturer has also announced the recall of about 1,200 Dodge Avengers that have problems with the front door latches that can stick in the open position on 2007-08 models of the vehicle.
Owners of the 2007 Ducati 1098 motorcycle are being advised to take them into the dealer to allow mechanics to replace a coolant hose that is susceptible to leaking hot coolant onto the rider's leg.
Honda motorcycle has agreed to recall its 2007 Rebel after it was learned that the crankcase breather separator in them might be defective.
The 2007 GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook are being recalled because an airbag sensor might not operate properly. As a result, the front airbags could fail to deploy in a frontal crash.

We will have to wait and see if this gets extended to the US and other countries. It sounds as if the recall fix will be to have the Dealer install Saab's inexpensive fuel line retaining clip.
I am not sure what a 2002 9-3 Wagon is, must be a mistake by the Gazette.
Have any owners of 1999 and 2000 9-5's experienced failed fuel line retaining tabs?
