I had to get the throttle body service done on my MY99 9-5 Wagon, after I had a couple of stall events.

Make sure that your fuel injection system is cleaned - try the BG 44K mentioned recently in posts, and do this before the throttle body service.

There could be mechanical (deposits) or electronic (device) issues, but don't forget to check the vacuum lines. I have read here that those can cause weird problems.
