My 99 9-5 w/ 135k has a definate noise from the pass side inner CV joint area. The boots are fine.
What is the best way to repair this? Should I buy one of the rebuilt shaft assy's and replace the entire shaft or should I just replace the CV joint?
I am doing this myself, what is easier?
Does the drive shaft end just pull out of the transmission (automatic)?
Should I replace the trans seal where the shaft goes into the trans also?
