There's a very experienced Saab mechanic working at Auto Restoration Techniques which is on Corrugated Way. (They specialize in rebuilding Saabs after they've been in an accident.)
I think the number is 299-2381 or 299-2382. They are a bit more competitively priced on labor, but mostly do stuff at night and on weekends.
I have found MAG service pretty good to me for the most part. (They can be slow however, and I guess I paid for an alignment last year which they admitted they couldn't align properly, but couldn't figure out why.)
I was just there to get a seat belt replaced (fraying, still under seat belt warranty.)
However, I would never buy a car there, and they have a upcharge the hell out of parts prices. The Saab dealer in Bedford wants about $58 for a coolant bypass valve but Mag wants $115 for it.
Having said that, I met a guy who had a beautiful 1996 Rolls in for something to do with a headlight bezel. My observation is that he was treated right about the same way that I'm treated when I'm there.
