Hey guys, im on the road 1,000 miles from home and the engine cut out while i was driving slowly and then wouldnt start - cranked over, fired but not pick up. After a few times the Limp Home Mode engaged and it fired up.
Ive reset the CEL (remove Mngmnt Fuse) and reset LHM but then engine wouldnt start until LHM was engaged again.
Autozone has read the code as P1253, and ive searched the boads here only to find a generic code fualt.
P1253 Saab Throttle Motor Full PWM In Open Direction During Cranking
Im thinking the TB is dying / died but not finding this code on the boards is making me think twice.
I can drive the car but LHM is not the best way to travel.
Anyone know anything ..... please :)
