Interesting to note. For the last 18 years I've been driving an '86 900T. Recently I've been looking for a replacement (more reliable) daily driver used replacement. I'm not real exited about the Exterior styling of the newer Saabs, so I've been looking at other alternatives that are fun to drive, have good fuel economy, and have an actual back seat (The Audi TT was so temting)
In my research, that's the impression I get... Audi's seem to have some very expensive issues. There seems to be a common theme on the various Audi forums regarding very poor manufacturer and dealer support for their products. They don't seem to be nearly as friendly or helpful on the Audi forums either. (Although the people on the BMW forums seem to be downright (not very friendly))
The other thing I have observed is that in classifieds, like craig's list, I frequently see older saabs for sale - c900's, 99's, even v4's on occaision! I hardly ever see an Audi from the early 90's or even the 80's listed. hmmm(?)
Anyway... I'm I back "home" at the Saab camp, looking for the "right" one!
