I would recommend looking into the remanufactured throttle body replacement as an alternative to new. I posted a while back on a place in california, jaytan industries. The reman model they sent me is a beauty, and it works fine, with a 2 year warranty. As long as the vendor is reputable, and stands by their product, there is nothing wrong with reman bits, with the obvious benefit being considerably less $$$. As noted here, there is another vendor in Waltham Mass, I have seen their listing on ebay. Both vendors sell remans for around 200$ . Jaytan sends theirs with full instructions, and even adds a throttle body gasket! Nice touch. Good luck, and regards, Tom S.
