Blower fan modification when replacing? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sat, 9 Jun 2007 10:27:59 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I just returned from a business trip and found boxes of new repair parts for my 9-5 waiting for me, included was the replacement blower motor.
The typically cryptic Saab instruction sheet in the blower motor box says to file off a plastic lug on the new blower motor cage to a height of 3mm. Huh?
I figured I would examine the old blower motor after removal to see if this is really needed before I cut it off.
Anyone else encounter this? Is it for certain years only?
Thanks
