I have a 2003 Aero 5-spd with 55K miles. It's been very reliable. No interior parts have broken, and in fact the inside (and outside) look brand new. I replaced the battery at four years. The crank position sensor went early, but that's an easy fix. I'm very finnicky about it, so I replaced the rear shocks at 50K but it probably didn't need it.
The steering in any of these cars can develop a looseness (sometimes called "the clunk") which requires some lube about once a year. I had the PCV #6 upgrade done a few months ago.
Change the synth oil every 4k-5K miles and it's a solid, reliable car. Actually, it's been the most reliable car I've owned. It's never needed much, and what it needed was covered under warranty.
