Probably nothing, but...

I have a question to you guys,
I was driving today in my 2000 SE Wagon (93K), a little fast with the S button. While cornering into right turn, I heard a loud "clunk" from somewhere behind driver seat. It sounded like coming either from the rear footwell or from underneath the car. The impression was like some big, heavy, tall box falling down behind the driver seat. I looked under the car but didn't see anything wrong. The car drove fine, looks fine, and I have no idea what it was.
OK, so my theories:
-gas tank baffle - how likely it is that it will come loose and "hit" the side of the tank (tank half full)
-rear suspension spring somehow "stuck" on something and broke free during the tight turn
-rear suspension spring "broke" - however, car doesn't seem lower or tilted, and drives fine.
Any other ideas? I'm hoping you guys will give me some peace of mind here.
Thanks!
