No this was 3 different cars, I am a Used Car Dealer in VT, I sold Saab's new for 18 Years and I specialize in Pre Owned Saab's at my store. This appears to be the start of a widespread problem. The first instance I encountered was on an 01 Aero with 97000 Mi it was a car that I came with the dealership when I took over in March of this year. The former GM told me that it happened when he drove over a snow bank so I started by looking for damage. There was none to be found so we assumed it was a problem with the brake booster. When we removed it it weighed about 3 times what it should have. when we tipped it over it dumped out over 2 Quarts of engine oil. It then took a bit of exploratory surgery to determine that the Vaccuum pump was the cause. I called my former employer and the service manager was rather tight lipped about it but did admit that he MAY have seen a couple of instances. I think that it could develope into a PS Recall. When it first starts to occur the brakes actually get stronger because as the booster starts to fill up it reduces the air space and therefore increases the vaccuum but once it reaches a certain level you completely loose braking because the oil is a non-compressable substance the pedal just gets rock hard.
