I have recently noticed a faint chirping noise on the passenger side of my '02 Aero wagon when I travel at moderate speeds. It comes and goes and is not audible with the windows closed. However, when I can detect the sound, cornering does cause it to disappear (which suggests it might be bearings). I have more than 75k miles on the car and have been wondering about wheel bearings for a while. When they are replaced should you do all four corners of the car at the same time? Is this impossibly expensive? Is it something an upstate Saab dealership is likely to screw up? What is their life expectancy?
Any and all advice appreciated,
