After just a few thousand miles, the noise began to increase and with only about 15,000 miles on them now, they are getting downright annoying. At interstate speeds it is difficult to carry on a conversation with passengers or listen to the (very fine) H-K stereo.
Living in Maine, I run real snow tires in the winter - and the snow tires were *much* quieter than the P-6s.
I keep searching this forum to read about the experience of others, and am leaning toward Bridgestones for the next set.
If there is a good point to these tires, it is that they seem to wear well, which means I either have to toss a set of tires with lots of tread left or just put up with it, for now....
I'll do the latter, but reserve the right to not be all that happy about it.
Of course, there are those who have had a different experience and seem to like these things for reasons that completely escape me.
Good luck - but do keep looking. There are lots of much better tires out there IMHO.
