I don't think you are saving money by skipping the major service intervals like that. By my calculation it is about 2.5 cents/mile if you do the recommended service every 30K. The overall operating cost of a new Saab is over 50 cents/mile when depreciation, financing, insurance and maintenance are all added up, and maintenance is the smallest component. Used cars are less but not as much as you'd think. So you are only saving about 5% of your overall cost of ownership, and if you do part of it yourself, you are saving even less.

Have you changed the tranny fluid? Flushed the brake system? Neglecting those items will cost you a lot more down the road, or is your plan to just sell the car to someone else? If so, you will likely find that a car without a fully documented service history, preferably by the dealer, commands less at trade in time. Usually several thousand less.
