looking at the pic, i assumed the snapped hose was tywrapped to the metal pipe; the other end of the metal pipe goes to the turbo's intake manifold.
If it's true, then the snapped hose is part of the PCV system. The "missing end" is connected to the OIL TRAP.
You can use PCV #6 installation instruction as a reference to find the location of the OIL TRAP, http://www.thesaabsite.com/shop/data/Saab-95-lastest-oil-leak-bulletin.pdf
Since your car still have the original PCV system. The hose goes directly from the metal pipe to the OIL TRAP.
Someone can chime in if it's not correct.
