From our experience leasing from SAAB, your problem(s) are likely to lie with SFSC (which, I understand, is in the process of being eliminated, with GMAC now leasing everything- much to my satisfaction) rather than any dealer consdierations. When we turned in the first of our leased SAABs, SFSC wanted to ding us for $350 for excess wear. To cut to the chase, this was ludicrous, and we refused to sign the lease-end documents. It took about a month, with the dealer backing us- and by that time, we had proved we didn't learn our lesson, and leased ANOTHER car from SFSC.
Anyway, this time around we'd had it with their intransigence. The dealer has always been perfectly affable and willing to do anything; it's been SFSC that's been stick about everything. We are now back to buying cars, having purchased a great CPO car....it's a good feeling.
