correct. get it from the bottom. passenger side, ahead of the wheel. Jack up the car, You will see the 4 torx screws holding the cover. the screws are captured, once loose the cover and filter drop down.

correct. not so much tricky as awkward. you will need some ben gay when its over. I learned a few new curse words when I did mine, but I did it on a 100 deg day :-)

yep, same place as the 9k.
