Ok, so I started out with a bum alt. I worked my but off to replace that. Took me a while but I got it done. Started the car up after and found that I had lost my a/c. everything work fan, ACC so on. Funny thing, I tried to pull the codes and the only thing i got was the 08 code which I had before. No biggy. Well tonight thinking I might have 1 of 2 places I might have punched or creased one of the a/c lines. Well I added the neon/black light coolant in the system after I discovered I had zero pressure. Turned the car on turned the a/c on started the "recharge" process. I got half way into the can when I put it down and check to see if I was getting cool air or not. Well this is when I found that the blower motor wasn't working/blowing. Nothing!! So I started thinking, what might be the issue? Well I checked the codes again. Same thing as before, 1 code 08. Nothing else. I checked the fuses all ok.
What in the world could be going on????
I felt the hard lines. They were getting cold so I know it was filling. Crazy thing too. I can't find any leaks. I tapped the high side port. it turned green so I'm pretty sure the coolant has gone around the system. But again what gives on the blower motor. What else can go wrong???
99 9-5 se turbo, auto tranny just under 100K miles
Thanks guys
Tim
