FWIW, I'm able to get 30-31 on long highway runs without keeping my foot in it too hard (also 9-5 base). Seems to happen more often now that I've got the 1 year old and 2 year old in the car with me.

Having done a couple of long road trips with my wife, the sid will creep up to the 34-35 mark if she has it for a couple of hours! It doesn't stay there on my leg, usually.

I think it has to do with our right shoe sizes, and where the speedo is located... she rarely goes much over the 70 marker ;-)
