It was actually really easy. Shove a flathead screw driver into where the tabs are on the clear plastic dome-light cover. You should just have to do one side and then the thing will fall right out. This exposes a torx screw. Use the set in the trunk to take that out and then the whole plastic trim just comes right down. There aren't even any annoying plastic clips to deal with. I let it dangle by the temp sensor and microphone wires while I played around with the bulbs. I couldn't get my fingers in so I got a pair of really thin needle-nosed pliers. I had some really thin (think crazy-straw-width) rubber tubing hanging around so I cut a couple 3/4" pieces of that and jammed them onto the plier tongs. The bulbs pulled right out with those. It turned out one of them just needed to be re-seated and it came back on, unfortunately I dropped that one while putting it back in and the filament broke. So I have to find 2. Maye you will have better luck and you will just have to re-seat.
