Take a look and see if the metal tube on the top left side of the engine is rattling against one of the mounts. I had a groaning rattling sound that grew steadily worse. It only happened when at a stop, not while in motion. Turned out the metal tube was loose so I tied it off with a wire tie, noise gone.
