The batteries in my siren started failing and the alarm would turn on for no reason. It also gave the SERVICE THEFT ALARM message on SID. I replaced trhe batteries in the siren module and it took care of the blaring and the SID message for a while. However, recently (like 3 months later) my alarm started to come on again by itself every now and then. However, this time I'm not getting any messages on SID (CHECK OK). I'm thinking it might be because the main car battery needs replacing, but if that doesn't help - I'm stuck.
