No problems with clutch or tranny in 77,000 miles. Had to replace the DI and the throttle body at 72,000. Earlier we had a leaking heater valve. Other than that, it's great to drive, gets 21 mpg with mid-grade fuel on a mix of highway and suburban driving. Great features like the hidden storage area under the cargo floor, the tracks in the cargo area (make sure the loop fittings are with the car) and the removable cover for the cargo area (plus all the other neat SAAB features like back-seat reading lights and the night panel. It's practical, swallows up a lot of stuff, and you won't get tired of the design.
Stick-shift wagons _are_ hard to find, and even harder to find in colors other than silver.
