After Market Navigation install

OK,
I have a 2000 9-5 Aero. I am pretty happy with the stereo. I have a drive and play hooked up and it looks and works pretty nice. I am thinking of replacing the stock head unit with something like the Pioneer AVIC D3 to get Nav. Has anyone done this? It looks like the unit will fit, what I am concerned about is the factory speakers and amps. Will the aftermarket unit plug right in with the proper harness? How about the factory amps can I use them or is this a replace the whole shebang quest? Will I retain the 9 speaker’s functionality?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
-Luis
