You can also first take out the two switches to the left of the SID, the TCS and either a blank or On-Star. Use a screwdriver or a butter knife and they pop out rather easily. Reach in and find the clip on the side of the SID with your finger and push it in. The left side will pop right out. Then pull out the right side.
