It depends on what you mean by replacement. I got mine rebuilt by an independent Saab/Volvo specialist for $1500 in October. I had to leave my car there for almost 2 weeks while he had the turbo out of the car and sent off to a turbo rebuild place. If you really want to replace it the part alone from Saab is about $1800. Plus about $450 of labor and you're looking at around $2250. This is what my indy quoted me so it was a no-brainer to rebuild it. He still warranties it for 6k miles and 6 months too. If you get a new one it's 12k miles, 12 months. Not worth the extra grand in my opinion.
