When you have replaced the transmission fluid several times and it is nice and clear, you will find that it stays clean for a lot longer than the original batch did.
That's why I don't see the logic in waiting until 60K to change and the way they do it at the dealer which is only one drain and refill.
But it all comes down to politics and being environmental friendly green.
Brake fluid is also something you should have replaced since I have noticed on the newer Saab's that it turns very dark early on, which is a sign of moisture contamination.
