Sudden loss of all power - update and frustration

Update: 2003 9-5 Arc wagon, 3.0T. 50k miles. Car is CPO.
Earlier this month the wagon suddenly konked out, with no warning of any kind. All of the gauges dropped out and stayed dead; no power steering or power brakes. It is as though the main electrical power was suddenly cut off. Got the car off the road, turned it off, sat for a second, and then magically, was able to start it and drive normally, as if nothing had happened. This happened once before, in May, about 7k miles ago. The dealer could find no issues at all at that time.
I posted here recently and I got the advice to have the crank position sensor checked and the positive connector at the alternator. Well, the car is at the dealership today. Just spoke to the service manager -- the CPS and alternator connection both check ok. No codes in the computer, either. They cannot reproduce the problem and they do not know what causes it.
So... I have a dangerous and unpredictable problem with this car. That is not acceptable. The dealership has no idea what the problem is. Also not acceptable.
Any suggestions on how to handle this impasse? I'm frustrated, but I'm listening.
Thanks,
--Dan
