We always assume its the batteries in the module, but there are other things that can wrong, and only a tech II can tell you.

So you can take the car to a dealer or indy that has a tech II and have him read the actual code. That way you will know what is actually wrong (It might not have been the batteries after all)

Or you can just buy a new module from a site sponsor and roll the dice again.

Or you can get a used module, and roll the dice (but the stakes are lower)

or you can disconnect the module altogether.
