Tire pressure is a subjective discussion. The Aeros are so stiff in ride a few pounds higher than recommended will hardly be noticed in reduced ride quality but will do a world of good for your safety and wheels. First my dealer serviced my new Aero tires and spare(225-45-17) with Nitrogen to 43 pounds all around, spare to 65, then he advised me to LOOK rather than measure the TP. Look straight down just so the tire can be seen beyond the fender and see if the tire side wall is completely straight and no bulging at the bottom. My other Aero same size different tires (Conti Extreme Contact, except 235) - The CECs use air at 43 pounds and no bulge. I must check and air up the CECs probably every four or five months and pressure up. ususally 4-5 pounds. The Nitrogen filled tires have never been serviced although it is a problem when they are rotated and balanced. I finally had to install the special valve caps to prevent being checked. My "new" Aero is now almost two years old and just rolled over 10,000 miles. My old Aero is 7 years old and 110,000 miles; all rims are dent free and I have never had to replace a tire because of chuck hole damage. I think Nitrogen is worth the peace of mind and less servicing but that is about all. I gave my daughter a Christmas present of Nitrogen service last year for her Aero and it is a gift that keeps on giving. She has ruined several tires and a couple of rims in the past because of low pressure and NYC streets. So far this year everything is great for her, another 30,000 miles no problems.
