From 2002 through last summer, I mostly used one key. When the "change key battery" message came up, I switched to the other key, bought two batteries, and developed the tool and technique for changing it. (Thanks to whomever suggested a ball-end allen wrench. I ground the end smooth to make it even more ball-ended.) Well, the other battery weakened enough to trigger the alarm last week. I guess that means I now have 5 years to forget what I've learned about opening the key!
