If they do cpo it then it should be clean to you from that day on. Meaning if something happens in the future saab cannot avoid paying with the claim that the proper maintenance was not done prior to your purchase. Also, and I am not sure about this, but I was told this is true: For the 1st thirty days the dealer that cpo'd the car is on the hook for any repair costs. After that it gets paid for by the cpo warranty. What this means is the dealer will try to avoid any repairs in the first 30 days. After that they will be your best friend and collect from saab any repair costs.
If you buy the car let us know how the deal went. Post a picture so we can see the car. We like pictures.
