If you are OK with changing out the battery yourself... go with Costco. Exact fit, good price, great warranty, excellent customer service.
I am not impressed by the Ingrate brand, their distribution system, or their customer service.
There are various posts on this board about the heat from the turbocharged engine killing the battery prematurely. So, you need to consider your replacement strategy.
COSTCO bad battery
- Keep receipt
- Return battery to (any) store with friendly staff and consistent return policies and practices
- Get full refund within 3 years, prorated thereafter to 100 months.
INTERSTATE bad battery
- Keep receipt
- Hope that the dealer who sold you the battery is still in business.
- Endure variety of personalities behind the desk at you local Firestone, SAAB dealer, etc.
- If you don't have receipt, hope that the date code is stamped on the battery as Ingrate claims. Mine wasn't so Firestone did nothing for me.
- Call their 1-800 number, do not speak to a live person, leave messages that are never returned, etc.
