I did the LPT-Aero suspension on my 2001 wagon

And the final results are good but...
The Aero rear shocks are trash, soft and mushy... I removed mine after a year and replaced with KYB which are a near-to-stock replacement but firmer and with much higher gas pressure.
Rear springs for wagon are far too low (verified against proper part #s multiple times)... I added a 1cm spacer made from steel under each rear spring to regain ride height, and also 2 .6mm shims behind each rear hub to counter excessive negative camber.
The whole job is very easy DIY with air tools EXCEPT for the front sway bar. This was a whole-day job that requires dropping the subframe to install and great care to avoid breaking the hard-to-reach bolts that hold the sway bar bushings in place.
Ride quality is excellent. No worries about too stiff. My wife uses the car every day and she has no complaints either.
If I had to do it again, I'd probably go straight to Bilstein or Koni along with the sway bar upgrade from GS, without changing springs (to avoid the lowering and attendant camber and dragging-butt issues) or investigate third-party spring kits.
