How true. The 2001 MSRP start at $42k for the base ($27k US) and up to $58.5k ($36k US) for an auto Aero. These are list prices, no discount. This is for sedans. Add a couple thousand cdn for wagons. I assume the 2002 prices are similar. These prices are not far off a similar equipped Volvo in Canada. Base non turbo Volvo at $38k ($24k US) or so. Our V70 GLT with low pressure turbo, 3rd seat, leather, roof and snow tires/rims came in at about $46k ($29k US). Our 01 9.5 sedan with leather and roof and 5 speed came in at $44.5k ($27k), add an extra $1k for snow tire package Both similar prices for similarly equipped cars.
